Research Themes

I focus on experimental combustion research with a scope centered on aeronautics and energy production.

  • Flame stabilization in complex systems (multi-swirl, multi-injection, multi-burners...)
  • Flame dynamics and combustion instabilities in lab-scale but realistic configurations (complex injection systems, annular configurations...)
  • Experimental methods and post-processing for transient and dynamic phenomena
  • Alternative fuels: hydrogen and sustainable aviation fuels (SAF)

Teaching

I am deputy head of the Aerospace and Transportation track and I teach in all three years of the CentraleSupélec curriculum (undergraduate to graduate level).

  • Aerodynamics
  • Heat and Mass Transfer
  • Fluid Mechanics
  • IC Engines
  • Experimental Methods for Fluid Mechanics
  • Data Acquistion and Signal Processing
  • Engineering challenge weeks (Hybrid Powertrain Design, Hydrogen-electric airplane)
  • Engineering practice workshops (course focusing on engineering-related soft skills)
