I joined EM2C laboratory in 1990 and have developed many atmospheric and under pressurized environment experiments. I have also introduced many diagnostics among the team working on:
- Laser-Induced Fluorescence
- Radicals measurement OH*, CH*, C2*…
- High sample measures by spontaneous emission on PLIF OH/ PLIF PAH
- Particule Imagine Velocimetry (LDV, PIV), low frequency and High speed
- Laser-induced Incandescence (LII)
- Temperature measurements by Phosphor Thermometry
- Back lighting
I have participated to the driving of many doctoral students.
I have also actively participated to international conferences: ASME, Combustion Symposium, Gordon Conference on « Laser diagnostics », ECM.
GDR Soot:
National interdisciplinary network gathering 40 French laboratories working on soot
ISF Workshop:
International Soot Flame workshop promoting international collaborations between experimentalists and modelers working on soot from around 20 international research teams
My field of expertise is measurements in combustion using PIV, PLIF, LII, LIP laser and also pressure measurements, acoustics and with transcritical fluids (Liquid Oxygen, liquid CH4.
I am involved in European projects such as ANR, Chaire, ERC.
I am an active participant in the laboratory life: I have managed requirements specifications of experiments rooms for our new laboratory located in Saclay, have organized the moving and the transfer to the new premises.
I am a jury member of competitions and career promotion committees.
